About the Photographer

Hey, I’m dav.d (aka David Daniels, but way less boring). I’m a Utah-based photographer and a love for capturing people, weddings, and food. Marketing gurus say “find a niche,” but I say why limit the fun?

I’ve photographed hundreds of portraits, shot two cookbooks (yes, one about burritos), retouched thousands of photos in Photoshop, and captured weddings of all kinds—LDS temple, Catholic, LGBTQ+, Indian, and everything in between.

My style? Colorful, authentic, and vibrant. I bring the lights when needed, but keep the focus on you—no heavy filters, no gimmicks, just your best side.

When I’m not behind the camera, you might find me in front of it—as a zombie on a calendar cover, a stock photo lawyer, or some other random role. It keeps things fun.

If you’re looking for portraits, food photos, or wedding memories that feel genuine and a little more fun—let’s talk.

What I Shoot

Portraits – People are my favorite subjects. Every portrait is a story.

Weddings – From intimate ceremonies to big Utah bashes, I love capturing love.

Food – Two cookbooks, countless menus, and plenty of hungry moments later.

Headshots – Everyone needs one (yes, even for police lineups).

Events – From corporate trainings, conventions, and parties, I’ve been behind the scenes at it all.

Products – Clean, retouched, ready-to-sell images.

Landscapes & Travel – The artwork I hang on my own walls.

Sports – Still chasing that BYU sideline dream, but I’ve shot plenty of others.

Videography – Newer to the craft, but already creating some cool projects.

Basically—if it involves a camera, I’m in.
