Outdoor photography
We ended up photographing outside. The students knew of this large rock on the side of the theater building. They brought out the red couch and we setup our outdoor studio.

At these shoots I have no idea what the play is about so the art direction is coming from the University and the student directors.

Originally we were going to photograph the actors indoors in one of the theaters. However, the power went out on campus and they went from backup power to no power. I bring along my portable lighting kit so we were prepared for whatever situation arises. Be prepared. Be flexible. Have a backup plan.
