Wedding Photos at Market Street Grill with Tyson & Jared

by dav.d

Check out the wedding photography for Jared and Tyson’s ceremony at Market Street Grill in Cottonwood Heights. I’ve previously posted their engagement session at Wheeler Farms.

They had little gift bags for their guests that included chocolate biscotti cookies. Their color scheme was navy blue and gold.

And gay weddings mean unique cake toppers. This of course has the two grooms and two dogs.

Here are the wedding photos of the ceremony. I try my best to be the fly on the wall, but still get the photograph. The important shots (there all important) would be the processional, first kiss, and the ring exchange.

I’ll hound the couple to kiss at the end of the recessional. It makes a great photograph.

I was a bit brave photographing the family in front of the class wine cabinets downstairs at Market Street Grill. There is a huge chance for reflections of the lights, but I was able to position the people and the lights, and it turned out perfect.

Shooting grooms is fun. In this case the suits, ties, and boutonnieres match. It always depends on the couple.

We then photographed the grooms around the grounds. Tyson has a fondness for bridges, and we had several that could be in the background, or where we photographed. Some of it felt a little precarious, since I like to bring my big light to make the couple look their best.

I try to find textures that will look really cool for wedding rings and wedding bands. In this case, these are forks! The metallic look really looks cool for the mens’ wedding bands.
