San Diablo Churros in Action

I always like to photograph the small businesses that cater or support different events. They get some photography they could use in social media or their marketing, and I am networking hoping to find some paid gigs.

Making the churros

San Diablo Churros was the caterer for the 1000 Words event in Provo back in August. They fry up fresh churros and fill them with your choice of filling. They will even sprinkle a smattering of sugar or flavor over the creation as well. Some fillings include dulce de leche, Nutella, and sweet cream. They can get quite creative as well with goat cheese and herbs, mascapone, or chicken curry.

One combination that I tried was the Nutella filling with a sweet habañero seasoning sprinkled on the outside. Nummers. I like things spicy.

And as with everything, details are important! I photograph the different steps in the process. I was keeping things pretty candid for each of these photographs. I didn’t want to get in the way.
