It’s not everyday you celebrate your 50th wedding anniversary. The Wixom family celebrated at Stanza in Salt Lake City. I was brought in to capture a few candid moments but more importantly, create some family photographs of everyone. We started with the big group and worked hard to get everyone into the shot. We then photographed different groups… siblings, sisters, grandchildren, individual family units. It was pretty cool.

We photographed in the restaurant. They had reserved the entire upper floor. We did move some tables to make room. They had this one wall that worked for a background. I did scout around outside, and this spot worked the best.
